Anna Goode, a PalAmerican Security Officer at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville Pennsylvania, was recently acknowledged for her quick thinking in the face of a dangerous situation.
On March 15th, 2017 two gunshot victims and a third seriously injured patient were brought into the hospital for treatment. All three injuries had been caused by a single individual who was still on the loose, the hospital was concerned the shooter would come to the hospital to “finish the job.”
Anna immediately advised security staff and proceeded to secure all access to the hospital, posted staff at each entrance and communicated to the team what was being done to assure that no unauthorized individual would be admitted into the facility.
Mark Nussbaum, COO of Forbes Hospital said “the entire security team did a great job, but Anna’s performance stood out as being calm and professional during the lockdown.” Joe Anderson, Forbes Hospital Security lead was equally pleased to recognize Anna’s quick thinking and controlled reaction to a potentially dangerous situation.
Anna was all smiles during the presentation of her Certificate of Recognition and Gift Cards, by Mr Nussbaum as a result of the excellent job she did and her ability to help ensure the safety and security of staff and patients at the hospital.
Anna is just one of the high-calibre and professional Officers that PalAmerican is proud to have on our team.
