PalAmerican has grown by over 300 employees after acquiring Ohio-based company Premier Security. The deal not only expands PalAmerican’s presence in the Buckeye State, but also in Texas, and Florida, with large contracts that give PalAmerican visibility across the entire state.
Premier Security has a history of building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and boasted one of the highest officer retention rates in the industry. It’s part of what attracted PalAmerican to Premier Security; the fact that it had great partnerships with several local businesses in the downtown Cleveland area.
“PalAmerican is always looking for the right opportunity to expand its footprint into broader markets in the US,” Troy Hales, Executive Vice President, said. “We are excited to make our entry into the greater Cleveland area through this merger, and our newly established management team, led by Joe McCloskey, is poised for growth and has already brought additional business to the table.”
McCloskey will serve as the Director of Operations for Ohio and is a security industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. Most recently, he provided security services and solutions to a diverse clientele with a focus on creating partnerships by understanding the needs of each unique entity and providing focused solutions tailored to those needs. A philosophy that drives PalAmerican’s business as well.

Premier Security provides both a static footprint and mobile fleet consisting of over 40 vehicles, which can be seen on the road in Ohio and Florida. The acquisition also provides additional expertise in areas such as manufacturing, healthcare, educational campuses, gated communities, and with small businesses.

The acquisition in Ohio is the fifth acquisition PalAmerican has made over the past year.
