A COMMITMENT TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS
Lesson plans are developed with local training facilities that have been vetted and handpicked by our executive team to ensure we’re meeting both state and client requirements. Our training program has criteria from basic gun safety, marksmanship, innovative shoot / don’t shoot scenarios using augmented reality simulators, maintenance and familiarization to legal issues related to the use of deadly physical force. Our annual, site-specific course includes classroom theory and range time. Local trainers create site-specific scenarios to prepare our armed security officers for situations they are likely to encounter while on duty.
CUSTOMIZED TRAINING FOR EACH SPECIFIC SITE
At PalAmerican, we take the training of our armed security guards one step further, through customizable e-learning courses that can be specifically tailored to suit our clients’ needs. Our armed security guards are required to complete courses including active shooter, bomb threats, customer service, firearms handling policy, crisis intervention, mental health awareness, use of force policy, and management of aggressive behavior every year. Furthermore, our compliance officer will ensure that all staff have completed site-specific courses set out by our managers and clients before they start at any new site.
